PerPrev-CID Joins the Rheumatology Community at EULAR 2026 Congress

From 3–6 June, PerPrev-CID participated in the EULAR 2026 Congress in London, bringing together researchers, clinicians, patient representatives, and other stakeholders from across the wider rheumatic and musculoskeletal disease (RMD) community to discuss the latest advances in research and care.

Throughout the four-day event, the PerPrev-CID team engaged with visitors at its booth, sharing how the project combines clinical and molecular data analysis, digital health tools, nutrition research, and patient engagement to support more personalised prevention and management strategies for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). These discussions provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and developments with members of the research, clinical, and patient communities. Beyond the scientific programme and showcasing the project's work, EULAR 2026 offered a unique space for collaboration and networking. The event provided an opportunity for consortium partners to meet in person and to connect with other EU-funded rheumatology and immunology projects through the REACT network, exchanging experiences on patient engagement, communication, and collaborative research.

As a partner in PerPrev-CID, The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) plays an important role in supporting collaboration across the rheumatology field and fostering dialogue between research, clinical practice, and the patient community. Events such as the annual congress provide an important platform for bringing these perspectives together, strengthen partnerships and build new connections that will support the project's next steps.
